Have you heard about yoga but are too cautious to step into a class?  Do you have an injury or medical condition that makes you feel unsure about trying yoga?  Are you too inflexible for yoga?   Then this is the class for you!

For men and women of all shapes, sizes, ages, abilities. Chair yoga is an option in this class, and everyone works with their own capacities.

We won’t take ourselves too seriously, but we will get a taster of the most simple yet hugely beneficial yoga movements, breathing and relaxation.  This style is so simple that it may turn your head on what you thought yoga to be!  This class is accessible for all.  Although the class is cruisey, you will feel released from many tensions by the time you leave.

Whether you are curious about what yoga can do for you, looking for relief from body aches and pains, or wanting to increase you flexibility and strength; Here you can try the most effective basics, that will not require you to be a pretzel, be flexible or have any athletic skills.

Yoga releases physical and mental tension, promotes correct breathing, and optimal digestive and hormonal function.  Yoga increases blood supply to the tissues and organs of your body, removing stagnation, and promoting vitality and health.  Learn how to slip yoga breathing into your daily life for even greater wellbeing.

We have all the gear here for you but bring your own mat/cushion if you want to.
Wear comfortable loose clothing and be hydrated. Town supply drinking water available.
Ensure clean hands and feet. Make up, perfumes and body lotions can all affect the comfort of others, and integrity of mats, so please take care.  Arrive by 9.55am to say hello and get settled.

Free daytime parking just down the road (after Pitt St intersection). Free parking outside building from 5.30pm.

First class by koha, thereafter $10, CASH only unless by prior arrangement.   At your second class you can request the password for the video: “The 4 Essential Beginner Poses”.
